Livio and Green Park Brands most recent product that has launched in the market is Hippeas. The product is organic chickpea puffs. The promotion for this product is a healthier snack for you. It has only been launched in the United States at this point. The snack food hits all the essentials for millennials when they look for something healthy. It is certified organic, low calorie, vegan, kosher, gluten-free and non-GMO. The product has one hundred calories, three grams of fiber and four grams of protein in a single serving which is a one-ounce bag. The chickpeas currently have six different flavors, Far Out Fajita, Pepper Power, Happenin’ Hickory, Maple Haze, Vegan White Cheddar, and Siracha Sunshine.

Starbucks currently carries this product at their coffee shops. It is available at over 7500 locations across the United States. In addition to being a healthy and nutritious snack, Green Park Brands has made an initiative to give back. Hippeas has partnered with Farm Africa which is a charity working to end hunger in eastern Africa. Green Pack Brands will donate sales from every pack sold back to chickpea farmers. This idea is supposed to allow them to grow more chickpeas, expand and pull themselves out of poverty.

Hippeas has had a great start due to great research the company had done. Identifying the target audience and ensuring the key consumer needs are being met.
